Treat the reception as a complete composition
The sign is one part of the first impression. Start with a photograph that includes the reception desk, wall, furniture and lighting. Decide whether the sign should sit directly behind the desk or be visible as visitors enter. A close-up crop can hide spacing problems, so use both a full-room image and a closer wall photo when you discuss the layout.
Choose the presentation before the finish
Think about whether you prefer separate letters, a logo on a panel or a layered arrangement. Each creates a different relationship with the background. If you want a clear panel, consider what will be visible behind it. If you want separate letters, consider their spacing and alignment. Ask for a proposal that shows the complete arrangement at the intended dimensions.
Make the artwork easy to approve
Use the best available version of your logo and send brand colour references if you have them. Check small details, legal wording and any secondary text carefully. Avoid approving the design from a low-resolution screenshot alone. Request the final wording and dimensions in writing, and keep one clearly identified approval version rather than several competing revisions in the conversation.
Discuss the installation details
Provide the wall material and describe any restrictions on fixings. Ask which components will be supplied and who is responsible for mounting them. If you are arranging your own installer, share their questions before fabrication. Also request care instructions for the actual product and finish being supplied so cleaning decisions are based on the material rather than a generic online tip.
Build a brief around the room
A useful enquiry includes the logo, wall photograph, available width, preferred presentation, delivery location and installation plan. Mention whether this is one reception or a group of locations that should match. Antique Signage can then discuss a custom acrylic sign around the space. There is no fixed price list because dimensions, construction and finishing are agreed for each project.
